Fathers Day

The greatest gift I ever had came from God; I call him Dad! I love my dad more than he'll ever know. I know he's super proud of me, but heck he needs to take credit for who I am. Without his love, patience (except with math homework), hard hand, firm rules, and guidance I wouldn't be who I am today. My parents were true role models and today I'm super thankful for their strict ways.

What a great Father's Day we had! It started with Church, quick lunch, change of clothes, and headed to the ball field! If we won our 1:00pm game we'd be done for the day!!! And since we won...we all headed back to our house for a feast and fellowship! Since it was Father's Day, I was in charge of the grill. We had steaks, twice baked potatoes, salad, corn on the cob, and lordy at the desserts: lemon supreme pound cake, homemade chocolate ice cream, and Brenda's applesauce (yes, it's a dessert-the way she fixes it :)

We had a nice relaxing day with all the ones we love: my parents, the in-laws, grandma, and my little nephew (and his parents). I've came to the realization that the only things that matter to me in life are: my personal relationship with my Lord and Savior, my husband, kids, and our family.

I honestly couldn't ask for a better daddy for our boys! God knew what he was doing when he paired Jason and I together. We are seriously like PB&J! We just go together - for the most part. He loves those kids just as much as he loves me. He is a far better dad than he has to be. I hope the boys grow up to be just like him - or even better! They have big shoes to fill :)

After everyone was gone, we headed out for a bike ride. I just about killed myself a few times but we had a nice evening. Thanks to my SIL, she caught all these snap shots of our evening!

Baseball=MVP

Vacation can't get here soon enough! We've lived at the baseball field since Jase made All Star's. We've made another extended family: The Middle Valley Predators (MVP). I can't complain, other than being tired, because he loves it and so do we! I just said last night, I can't believe I haven't taken my camera. But when you pack a wagon with: Jax, chairs, cooler, diaper bag, pulling a canopy, and anything else you can think of...I simply just forget. So, my goal this weekend is to find a sitter for Jax so I can enjoy watching my little right fielder play some baseball! He's ripping the ball, catching the ball, and throwing the ball all so well. We started the season off a little rusty, but it didn't take us long to get things into motion. We just finished up the East Ridge tournament last night and we placed 4th- not too bad out of 21 teams! The boys did awesome, they played 3 games last night. Needless to say, it was 11:30 before we got home and in the bed. If you want to find us, just look at the ball field and I'm sure you'll spot us. I honestly wouldn't trade this life for anything right now. I'm loving this time! I'll close by showing you how well Jax likes being at the ball field:

He was out like a light in his makeshift bed! He does really well and has so much fun yelling "GO, Go, Go, Go, Go!" I guess I must say that a lot!
