Jase's First Basketball game

Saturday started early at the Moses house! 7:40 Papa called to see if the BB game was still on...I said why? It SNOWED!!!! In Chattanooga!!!! I was so upset...we didn't get to go out and play daddy was at work and I had a ballgame to get ready for.
Jase did great for his first time playing! He was a little confused about who to cover but did an excellent job! He scored 2 points! Well, the first one didn't count - his team mate had already scored. But he made the shot! He was so excited!!!

I am so proud of him!!! I am so very thankful that he loves playing sports! He uses a lot of his energy and learns so much from it. I love that it is a time when family can get together and fellowship while showing Jase how much he is loved!

After the ballgame we went to Cracker Barrel with Heidi, Kevin, mamaw, and grandpa. Jase loves Heidi and Kevin (and everyone else) so of coarse he had to beg to ride with them in the J-E-E-P (which he knows how to spell=SAD).

Let there and had to run to Walmart to get a gift and some snacks for the SEC Championship. Well...not all of that happened because Jax screamed the WHOLE time we were in Walmart (thought I was going to have a breakdown in the middle of the store). He was ready to eat and he was ready to eat RIGHT NOW. So we picked up the gift then headed to Pump-It-Up...greatest place to have a Birthday party!

Ms Savannah Stout (Lee George's, a friend I work with, granddaughter) was so kind to invite us to her 6th birthday party. Time has flown by...when we first met LeeAnne, Marshal, Savannah was only 2 years old! And Maddox wasn't thought of! They are a wonderful family who makes you feel like you are apart of the fam. We had a great time...Jax slept the whole time and Jase was red faced by the time we left.

Headed home to rest for a few minutes. Got the boys ready to go to EPB for our annual Christmas Open house...all I can say is WOW! The night starts with the parade then everyone heads inside to meet Santa and eat a wonderful meal. I can truly say that I work for a company who LOVES their employees!

Jax's first time meeting Santa with his big brother who LOVES Santa!

I think this is the sweetest picture!

Dedication day

I can't believe my little man is already 16 weeks old! I am trying so hard to enjoy every second...because this is the last one! Sunday was a very emotional day for me. I haven't cried that much in a long while. We had Jax dedicated that morning. This is very important to us so we requested that our families join us. So, my parents, my grandmother, aunt Jerri, my cousin Monnie, my Nanny and her husband Ace, Mike, Brenda, Grandma, Kevin and Heidi joined us at church. WOW! We filled 2 pews. And our church family was there with us with the exception of Christy :( Briley was home sick. But Travis was there and went to lunch with us. The service was amazing and the Spirit of the Lord was present. Great job Darrell.

Here are a few pictures from the service...

Jax made the big screen!

After church we went to Ichiban to eat. Had a great day with my family!

Once we got home...Jax wanted to take his 4 hour nap that he missed on Saturday! So me and the boys headed outside! It was really nice. Jason and I washed the car and put some things in the attic. And before we knew it Jase was down at the neighbors helping him clean out the drain...he loves to work like this. He'll stay busy for HOURS "helping"

Danny welcomed his help and said he was a great helper! He loves to help Nana and Papa work in the yard.

After Jax woke up smiling (one day I'll capture this on camera!) we headed to Joyce and Steve's (Jason's aunt) for thanksgiving with the Moses clan. We had the traditional thanksgiving spread with a few extras! Meatloaf (one of my favorites!) and it was delicious! Chicken casserole (which I love) and any kind of dessert you could have asked for. Jase had a great time visiting with Harper Kate (Heather's little girl). She is too cute!

Harper was sitting in Heidi's lap and Jase couldn't stand it.

Thank God we didn't' have a little girl...afraid Jase would love her stuff!

Check out the shoes! I'll have this in the slide show when he gets married!

And Jax had a great time being loved on by everyone and sitting in his big boy chair!

And here is what he loves to do...

What a great day...was sad to see it end. Jason is back to work today...but is off the rest of the week (until Saturday). Looking forward to getting my new (to me) table tomorrow! Will post pictures later on!

Family time...

Why does the weekend seem to FLY by but the hours away from my family seem to drag? When someone figures that out...let me know! Friday night Jase went to Mamaw's to stay the night and me and the other two boys went to our Bible study with our other family. Jax wasn't feeling so hot...and after bouncing and rocking until 12:30...i passed him off to daddy. He finally went to bed around 1:30ish. Jason said he had a belly ache (that's what he always says). Saturday morning we got up and rushed out the door. We sold our kitchen table (which was way to big for our kitchen) almost a month ago and I have been searching for a table with four chairs and a bench. Finally found one (after going to every furniture shop in Chattanooga) in Birmingham on Craigs List. So..Jason will be making a day trip (he offered). I can't wait!!!! Here is a picture...

We ate lunch at Ankar's then headed down to the in-laws to get Jase and Jax ready for our family pictures with Mrs Beth Harold (family!). WOW is just about all I can say. I absoulutely LOVE every single one of them! Here is a sneak peak...

And one of the sweetest...

Jase did great! He loves the camera?

I'm so thanful for my awesome boys and amazing husband! We are heading into our 8th year of marriage. Can you believe it has been 8 years? That seems so long ago.

Love you very much boys! Thank God for you.

So much to be thankful for!

Yesterday was a very great day to let those that you love know just how thankful you are for them. I started my day at 7:45 with a sweet little boy wanting to eat! i love going into his room (YES...he sleeps in his own bed in his own room) and him just laying there smiling at me! So sweet!!! Jason had to work so it was just me and the boys...after a stressful morning we headed out to our busy day. First stop was to meet Aunt Heidi...she made the boys Thanksgiving shirts.
Here is the front - Gobble til you wobble!

And the back...

And little man...the front was already there...but too cute not to share...

And the back...

Then on to my grandad's (Pop) house. I love going by there because i get to see my aunt Shanna, Vince, Brittney, Joe, & Kade - they live in Madisonville with my mamaw (well not with her...but in the same town).
Here is great aunt Shanna with Jax..

And Britney with the boys...

And Pop and Nan with the boys...

I also get to catch up with the rest of my family who I don't see often.

After a quick visit...we headed over to Nanny's house (dad's mom). This is when the eating begins! Jase had a great time playing with Nolan, Maria, Alex, Taylor, and his favorite this year was Katie.
Jase, Alex, & Maria swinging...

Jax was happy to take a nap! We had new additions this year...Nanny got married back in July! Ace and his family were there to join us. We had a great time.
Then off to our next stop. We went to mamaw's house (Jason's parents)..it was time for Jax to eat and I assisted Brenda in the kitchen. We loaded up the van and headed down to Tera's (where the Moses clan was eating). I was so exccited...Linda (Jason's aunt) made me my very own pan of her dressing!!!! YUMMY!!! I love that stuff! I could eat a whole pan myself! We'll see if I can! LOL!
After a short stay...we headed to my grandmother's (GG-is what the boys call her). I love my family! Everyone had a great time and loved getting Jase wound up! He doesn't need too much help...by the end of the night he was acting like a lunitic! Sometimes you can't filter what your children say and they cause you to be very embarrased...that's all I'll say about that!
All in all we had a great day and we have so much to be thankful for! For one that we have our salvation! Thank God for dying on the cross for my sins. We have a strong marriage, 2 healthy boys, great jobs, awesome family and friends, great church with loving family...and many more to name.
God Bless!

Christmas time at Nana and Papa's

Yesterday after church we headed up to Nana and Papa's for lunch. We had homemade vegetable soup from Friday night. And Jason and Jase had chicken and pizza. Remember...they hate the word vegetable! We had a great time visiting!

While Jase and Jason were taking a nap...mom, dad, and I put up the Christmas tree! Good ol' memories from my childhood came back. Mom and I used to love putting the tree up...we'd play Christmas music and just act silly! Had a great time! We had to save some decorations for Jase to add to the tree once he got up from his nap. He was in a much better mood after his quick nap!

We have a picture of Jase running around in his walker with Papa's hat on...and now we have one with little Jax too!

Jase dancing to Carrie Underwood...think we may have a dancer on our hands!

He has finally learned to snap his fingers and is so excited!

He loves being silly...

This is the sweetest time to snap shots of Jax...when he first wakes up from his nap. Guaranteed a smile every time!

And here they are after all of our hard work...

One thing I have learned from being a mommy of 2 boys...you can never get them to smile at the same time! Love kiddo's and my life!

Pancake breakfast...

WOW! After a long night of food, fun, fellowship, and shopping...my day began at 7:45am. Got ready quickly...got Jax up and ready and we headed out to meet the Moses clan (including Jase-who stayed the night with Heidi and Kevin!) at Applebee's for an all you can eat pancake breakfast in support of the Ooltewah girls softball team. Had a great time and ate too much!

Ashley being silly...she loved her breakfast too!

Heidi with her awesome softball shirt on...I need one of these if I am going to be going to DISNEY in April to SUPPORT the Lady Owls...

Yes you heard me right...we are going to Disney in April with the Lady Owls...I think I am more excited than Jase is! We had a great time the last time we went..I think Jase will LOVE it this year. He can ride a lot more rides this time! So the count down is on...133 days to go!

Look at this sweet and happy boy...after his breakfast! Even with a little cold!

And the man of the hour with his uncle "Seven" otherwise known as Kevin...he (being Jase) was awe struck with all the GIRRRLLS...he thinks they are all pretty!! I didn't realize that this started so early!

After the Pancake breakfast we headed to Cleveland with Kevin and Heidi to return some items...Jase and Kevin went to Dairy Queen to get a "drink" which ended up with an ice cream too! Then we went and had lunch at Chick-Fil-A. Jase ate good and then ate another ice cream!

After looking at a few cars (This is a ritual with the Moses boys!) we headed back to Kevin and Heidi's to take a nap. Seems like only the little boys took a nap! Heidi practiced her monogramming skills and made a burp cloth for Jax...which turned out so cute (forgot to get a pic :()

Then it was off to the East Ridge parade with Bryan and Ashley and her family. it was cold...but had a great time! Jase loved it! I'm going to barrow pictures from Heidi...

And Jax was snuggled up close to mommy...and slept most of the time!

And Jase loving on Jacob...too sweet!

Jase loves that Jacob is big enough to interact with him! He can't wait for Jax to get "Big"...yeah right!

After the Parade the Moses's and Tates were going to eat...Jase said he just wanted to go home and eat. Think he was tired???

Already...time for the Holidays?

I can't believe it's already time for the Holiday's!!! Where has this year gone? Seriously! Well we had a very busy week last week! I had a bright idea that I would get the house ready for Christmas prior to my Pampered Chef/Jewelry party Friday night! CRAZY! Two boys...dad working...house to clean for the party...what was I thinking???
Here are the results...
Starting with outside...

The tree...with Jase's help!

And Jase wanted these trees up somewhere...

And the focal point! Which I am very proud of this year...not sure why but think it looks great!

And the center piece on the dining room table...

Friday night I hosted a Pampered Chef/Cookie Lee Jewelry party for Ashley Tate/Julie Wade. We had a great time of fun, food and fellowship...once the guys and little ones left...except for this little cutie...
Here he is with his fav aunt Heidi and Ashley

And with Ms Jenny...Can't wait to see how Chris (her hubby) likes having him around! He was a little leery of Jase when he was a baby...but can't get enough of him now!

Jenny...looking like a natural! I can't wait until you make me an adopted Aunt!!! Jenny and I are both only children and have been good friends for a lllllllooooong time!

Ashley with her Christmas apron...too cute!

Here are a few of the ladies...

And the award goes to Mrs Kim...she is the quickest shopper! Thanks for stopping buy and making the party a success!

Had a great time with the ladies and enjoyed the food, fun and fellowship!
