Little Jax & Big brother

Wow...time is flying by! It has been 6 weeks since Jax was born! He is doing so well...very strong little boy

Yes, this is Jax! I put him on his tummy and this is what we got! I was so excited to see those little muscules!

I went last week and got a new look! I was so scared that Jax wouldn't recognize me...hasn't bothered him yet! He still loves me to death... Now, Jason and Jase can't get used to it...but say they like it??

Look at his little boy taking a nap...hands above his head...finger in his ear!

And now on game day...GO VOLS!! We expected to get beat really bad but the game wasn't so bad...Defense was awesome! We were ready with our big T shirt thanks to the Kyle's (family friends)...

Here is our new DIY family picture...hope to have some new ones made really soon. This will have to do for now...

Well...it's almost time for everyone to get up from nap and get ready to head back to church. Still loving life!

Family time

Last Wednesday we went to the new and improved Chattanooga Zoo! We left the house and guess what...it started pouring down rain! As if that was a big surprise since it has rained for 7 days! Did I mention that it is $1 Wednesday at the zoo??? And wow...they have made some major renovations! We had a great time! It rained all around us...but not at the zoo!

Here are the boys at the zoo...

Jase loved the monkeys...as soon as he walked up this cute guy came over and played peak-a-boo with him! Crazy!

Looks like daddy and Jase in this picture? Not sure...what do you think?

Look at this awesome new carousal at the zoo...Jase just had to ride the coyote! Crazy kid!

After the zoo...mommy finally got the meal that I had wanted since the night I had Jax...Chicken Ramano with Salad and lots of rolls from Provino's!!!! That is the best place to eat...but not Jason's favorite?? It was so good!

We are loving our family time and adjusting to our new addition! Our children are such a blessing from God! We are so thankful for everyday!

Playing at Nana and Papa's

Almost 10 years ago (before children were thought of) mom and dad bought a house on the lake!! It is so cool to go up there and enjoy the nice and quiet and have an awesome view! Jase absolutely loves going up there!! This summer he has enjoyed running and jumping off of the doc...this has been dad's dream since they bought the house!

Another favorite past time is fishing...not a lot of patience but does get really excited once he catches something with his Spider man fishing rod (Thanks to Drake George!)

When I was in the hospital (having Jax)...mom sent me a video of Jase doing a flip off of the doc into the water! Talk about having a heart attack! (I'll post after she sends it again)

This is an old picture...but shows the awesome view at dusk!

So during the winter this is what Jase would rather do than anything! He loves to dig in the dirt!

While Jase has been out playing...this is what Jax likes to do (for now)...

The boys with Nana and Papa after one of our dinners (while daddy is working we go eat yummy food that daddy will not eat!) on the back porch...

Can't wait to see if Jax loves his time at mom and dad's!! Jason and I were talking about how sad we were that we didn't get to go out on the boat this year! Oh well...we've got plenty of years ahead of us...Lord willing! Next year we will have two little water boys!

I'm off to a shower while Jax is taking one of his many naps!

Getting so BIG

WOW! Jase is 4 1/2 years old! I can't believe that my little baby boy is getting so big. Reality set it once we brought Jax home from the hospital. Jase looked like a giant compared to him. So since he is getting so big...his daddy thought it would be cool to take his training wheels off...so far no major crashes - Thank God!!!

So we are still loving life and adjusting to having to little baby boys and everyone seems to be doing well! We are still thanking God for our blessings and praying for his guidance in raising these sweet little boys!

I must say...Jase is a sweet and loving little boy... He really loves his uncle Kevin (probably more than Kevin realizes)! He loves everything Kevin does and teaches him. I just knew that when he snatched a gallon of milk out of the fridge (at Mike and Brenda's), opened it and turned it up to get a drink...that he would say Uncle Kevin taught him how to do that (used to be his answer for everything)! Well...his response when we asked him who taught him how to do that...he said Mommy and Daddy. Talk about being embarrassed!

So on this same day we headed down to the pool and Jase had to tease uncle Kevin and tell him that his Hummer (FJ) couldn't go in the rocks...20 minutes after sliding in the mud and having a great time...we get stuck! Yes...stuck! After 15 minutes of trying to get the Hummer out...Jase looks at me and says Mommy...I want to go swimming! Just like a little Moses...no patience!

So finally at the Pool! Now uncle Kevin...get in and play with me! Jase really needed this one on one time with everyone (mamaw was at the house with baby Jax)! Love our family time! Yes, this is Jase swimming in the deep end without arm floats!

And we can't forget about the most patient person in the world...aunt Heidi! She is awesome with Jase...always playing with him and trying her best to make him mind! I really think he thinks she has hung the moon and stars! He loves going to her Volleyball games to watch the girls! Wishing one day she and uncle Kevin will have us a baby cousin (hoping for a little girl!) to love on and spoil! Can't wait!!!!

Well...I think I should take advantage of jumping in the shower while Mr. Jax is snoozing in his swing! What a little blessing!! Could just eat him up!

Catching up...

Wow...a lot has happened since my last post! Only 3 days later we welcomed our newest addition to the Moses family... Jax Evan Moses born August 7, 2009 at 2:51 am weighing 7lbs 15oz and 21" long.

I woke up on the 6th at 3am...just not feeling well. Took my BP because my head felt like it was going to explode. Everything was fine...I went back to bed and tried my best to sleep...did I mention that Jason was at work??? I waited until 7:07 am to call him (Thursday morning) to see if he was on his way home. He told me to go ahead and call the doctor...which my doctor was out of town :( Dr. Radapour (not sure about the spelling) called me right back and said...meet me at the office at 8:30am... Well I was dilated 4cm and 70% effaced...gave me two options...go home and take a hot bath and rest or go on over to the hospital...not sure why I chose to go home...but we did. We went to Ankars and ate lunch then home to a nice hot bath and a short nap. It's hard to rest when you are having contractions every 4 minutes...so at 4pm...we talked again and he said go on to the hospital and I'll see you there...

And after being in labor for several hours and 50 minutes of pushing...Mr Jax entered the world...Praise God!

And the question of the hour...How is Big brother doing with Baby Jax...so far so good!

This is the first thing he wants to do when he gets home from school...

We went back for his month checkup and Mr. piggy had gained 2lbs! Yes, 32oz! Pediatrician has put him on a diet...just kidding...he did request we change the formula from the Premium to just the regular. He is getting so big everyday and we are just trying our best to enjoy everything!

So, I'm signing off to take a little nap (not much sleep last night) and will update you later with all the other new adventures in our lives!
